soup

noodles
Uzmi jedno jaje i pomjesaj sa brasnom, nek bude onako tvrdje tjesto. Onda razvuci to tjesto tanko, svaki put stavi malo brasna kad razvlacis. Onda izrezi na stripes i stavi jedan na drugi i onda rezi rezance. Pusti ih da se osuse. Jednostavno je, ali ako ti se cini komplicirano pokazat cu ti kad se vidimo!
juha od riže
1 1/4 L vode ili jude od kosti 4 dkg maslaca 3 dkg brasna 5 dkg rize 2 dkg luka 1 glijva 1 zlica parmezana sol riza se kuha u slanoj vodi dok postane mekana. napravi se zafrig od maslaca i brasna, dolije se juhom ili vodom, doda rize i luk i pusti kuhati. gliva se ocisti, izreze na ploske i doda u juhu s malo ribanog parmezana. luk se prije serviranja izvadi iz juhe. uz tu juhu moze se posebno servirati ribani parmezan, no u tom slucaju moramo ga nabaviti vise.
emily's kickass kale & garlic soup
5 cups water boiled with vegetable bullion add chopped kale add hot water soaked noodles (from zupan's - those thin chinese noodle looking ones) sautee bulb (and 1/2!) of garlic add cayenne pepper en-fucking-joy
falična juha
Komadic putra, graska (ja stavim frozen) dvije sake, mrkve u koluticima, jedan krumpir u kockicama, jedna kocka, pasta za juhu dvije sake i nek se sve skupa kuha dok je gotovo. Lagano, jel? Napravili smo juhu od jednu kosti i pola pileta i ubacili dva cijela krumpira i dvije cijele mrkve. Kad je juha bila gotova napravili smo juhu sa rezancima. Piletinu sam odrezala u komadice, krumpir isto u kockice i mrkvu u kolutice, onda mozes nadodati kiseli krastavac (ako nemas netreba) u kockicama i mayonezu i tako sam imala neku vrstu ruske salate.

Stavi malo putra i isprzi na putru saku frozen green peas, onda nadodaj vode, jedan bouillon, vrlo malo vegete, jednu mrkvu odrezanu na kolutice, jedan krumpir isto izrezan na sitno, i opet neke makarone za juhu. To je sve
juha od rajcice
opet isto malo ulja malo brasna malo crvene paprike jednu kanu rajcice, komad celera ili persina sa miris, soli po volji ili jedan bouillon, onda mozes sitnu pastu za juhu, samo pazi moras mjesati jer uvijek padne dolje i zalijepise za dno. Mjesaj i onda parmesan. Ja nekada uzmem jaje, brasna i to pomjesam u ubacimu juhu, opet lijepi se za dno, pa moras odlijepit sa zlicom.
juha od rajčice
1/2 kg svjeze ili 10 dkg konzervirane rajcice 3 dkg masti 3 dkg brasna 1 L vode 2 dkg secera 1 dl vrhnja sol, 1 dkg luka svjeze se rajcice operu, zgnjece i u vlastitom soku mekano kuhajui, a nakon toga pasiraju. zatim se stave na zafrig na kojem se isprzi komadic luka. dolije se potrebnom kolicinom vode, doda soli i secera i pusti kuhati. konacno se doda vrhnje, a luk se izvadi. ukuhati se moze rize ili tjestenina.
juha od pileta
(chicken soup for the soul). cetvrtinu pileta, nogu i zabatak, onda jedan bouillon, malo vegete, jednu rajcicu na komade, jedan luk na komade sa korom, komad celera, persina, mrkve, tri krumpira, moze i kukuruza ako imate. Nadodala sam dva komada chicken breast. Onda svakako iscijedila sam i napravila juhu sa rezancima. Drugi dan od pileca prsa, krumpira odrezane na komadicke, i pickles, , olives, i mayoneze napravila sam rusku salatu ala chicken. Stipo loved it.
juha od leče
1 1/4 L vode 20 dkg lece 1/2 dkg masti 1 dkg luka 2 dkg masti 2 dkg brasna ocat, sol, papar 1 zemicka leca se ocisti, opere i sa sitno kosanim lukom (isprzenim na masati) kuha dok postane mekana. kad je mekana, pasira se i metne na zafrig, dolije vodom u kojo se lece kuhala, doda se octa, soli, papra i pusti da kuha. servira se s przenom zemickom. moze se dodati i na ploske rezana suha kobasica.

1 1/4 L vode 1/4 kg krumpira 1/2 dkg luka zeleni persin 4 dkg masti 3 dkg brasna 1 dl vrhnja sol, crvena paprika

brocolli soup brasna - couple spoons oil mlijeka brocolli sol water with mushrooms - fry them first
dalmatian soup
6 c. beef stock 1/4 lb. cooked macaroni 1/4 c. butter 3 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. chopped onion 1/2 c. grated parmesan melt butter over low heat - increase heat and brown onion in butter. add flour and make golden roux - add that to beef stock. stir well. allow to cook for 20-25 min.. add cooked macaroni and parmesan

strawberry salad dressing
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive oil 2/3 cup sliced strawberries 1 TBS honey, sugar, or strawberry preserves
salata s rižom
Skuhala sam dvije sake rize u vodi, malo ulja i soli, iscijedila, ohladila i nadodala jednu rajcicu u malim komadicima, i pola luka (mozda green onions i tomatoes isto) (optional) i stavila maslinovog ulja i octa. To je jako dobro. Svi to vole kao side order. svakako uz to mozete napraviti
ensalada rusa
7 potatoes - golden, 3 mrkve kuhane, 4 velike zlice light mayo, 3 sake peas, pickles 1/ jar - dill , skini koru of the potatoes and mrkve after they''re cooked salt - malo limun, malo bibera krumpir se oguli i izreze na kockice. zatim se napravi zafrig na kojem se poprzi sitno kosani luk, dolije hladnom vodom i mijesa. na zafrig se stavi oprani krumpir, nalije potrebna kolicina vode i pusti kuhati. juha se soli i papri, doda se malo paprike, a kratko vrijeme prije serviranja stavi se sitno kosani persin i vrhnje.
mediterranean pasta salad
cook 4 cups spiral pasta - mix w/ tomatoes and 1 cup olives, pepperoni - zucchini i parmesan

bread / drink

pogače
ugirjes jednu cup mlijeko u heated milk spoon of sugar and bag of yeast. 10 min ostavit so it grows. take 5-6 cups of flour and depending on pan 1 spoon of baking powder a llittle sol mix everything with warm water so that dough is soft then put dough on tepsije with oil on bottom let stay for few min then cook it and indentations with fork. with hands moisten surface - cook at 350 - 1/2 hour
corn bread
1 1/4 brasno 3/4 cornmeal 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 cupt skim milk 1/4 cup veggie ulje 2 egg white 400 - grease pan - combine all - bake 20-25 min
biskuits
2 cups self rising flour - 3/4 cups milk, 50 g butter, make into balls and bake
pofezle
4 jaja, mlijeko, dip bred - fry in oil - cimet

Kupi "Eye of round meso" cijeli je velik, ja sam kupila pola. Stavi malo ulja u padelu i onda stavi meso da se malo ispece na ulju (par minuta) onda stavi crvene paprike i soli (ja stavim seasoned salt) onda 2 cups od mlijeka i nek se polako kuha jedno dva sata. schnitzel
za vas 250 grama mljevenog mesa, dva komada kruha stavit u mlijeko i onda izmikati i stavit u meso, nadodat jedno jaje, malo senfa, soli i napravi snicle stavi u prezl i peci.
dinstano pile
ulje, luk (polovi), mrkva, rajcice, red pepper, chicken, 2 cups water medium - 1 hour
pileći rižoto
Uzela sam pola pileta odrezala u komade. 2 lb. should of lamb, cubed 1/4 c. lard or shortening 1/4 c. butter 1 1/2 c. rice 1/4 c. tomato paste 1 c. onion, finely chopped 1 clove garlic, chopped 2 c. water salt and pepper saute the finely chopped onion in lard until golden brown. add crushed garlic and stir well. add cubed meat. season w/ salt and pepper. cover and simmer slowly, stirring occasionally. add tomato paste and a little water. allow to simmer for approx. 1/2 hr, if necessary add a lil water. wash rice and saute in butter but do not allow to brown. add 2cups of water, cover, and cook slowly until tender place rice in large serving bowl and add lamb in center.

1 lb. veal 1 lb. pork or lamb 1 clove garlic, chopped 2 tbsp. chopped onion 3 tbsp. oil small bay leaves 1 tbsp. ground parsley salt and pepper cut meat into cubes. dry cubet meat b/w paper towels. place meat in deep bowl. season. add oil, onion, garlic, parsley. mix well. cover and refrigerate for 3 hours. place meat cubes on skewers alt. the pork and veal with half a bay leaf between each cube. broil the raznjici in a preheated over broiler or grill them for 20 min. until well down. pork must not be undercooked. baste with oil and marinade from earlier. serve on skewers.

1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. ground lamb 2 tbsp. lard or shortening 1/2 c. onion, finely chopped 2 cloves garlic, chopped 2 tbsp. flour 1 tbsp. parsley 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 tsp. paprika salt and pepper heat lard in medium saucepan. when foam subsides, add onions and garlic and cook them for a few min. until onions are browned. transfer onions to bowl. add meat, egg, flour, salt, pepper, parsley, paprika mix well. when combined, make little 2" sausages. cover plate and refigerate for 2 hours. barbecue for 20 min. make them dark brown and well done inside. if you can find it, serve with lepinja and kajmak!

250g ricotta(half package), 250g putra (2 sticks), 250g brasna(1 1/2 cup) mjesaj sat vremena u fridge i onda kao kolacky - 1 can tuna, hard boiled (10 min) egg 20 min - 350 another way... enpanade s mesom 1/2 ground round 1 can stewed tomatoes boil two eggs can of olives 12 enpanades from argentina (where you''ll find this god only knows) fant, spices cook meat, mix together, etc. fill the enpanades, brush with an egg, bake @ 350.
plain ole fish
1 pound roughy 1/4 cup brasno 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp lemon pepper 1 egg white 1/4 cup bread crumbs 1/4 cup cornmeal 1 1/2 tsp lemon korica 1/2 tsp basil, crushed throw fish, cut into pieces, combine flour, salt pepper, beat egg white froth - combine bread crumbs, cornmeal, peel and basil, dip fish in flour, egg, etc, then bread crumbsb, place on baking pan coating side up - 450 - 6 -12 min

8oz cream cheese 1 cup margarine unsalted 2 cups self-rising flour 2 tbl sugar mix - refridge - cut dough into four chunks - roll dough on floured surface - cut circles - put filling (apricot- not jelly) - bake at 350 10 min butter pan

oatmeal crisp
1 c. sugar 1/4 c. butter 1/2 stick 2 well beaten eggs 1 tsp vanilla 2 c rolled oats 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 c. flour little salt 1 c. walnuts 1 cup raisins bake 15 min slow 350
chateau
jaja (zuta), secer, vruca mlijeka
hazelnut cookies
1 c. hazelnuts 1 c. flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 stick butter 1/3 c sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla extract 4 oz chocolate oven 350, bake hazelnuts 10 -15 minuts remove - let cool oven 325, blend hazelnuts to corse bits, whisk flour, b. powder, and salt beat butter sugar til smooth beat in egg and vanilla and then beat in flour and nuts andmix 1x2 inch cookies greased b. sheet, bake til firm cool - saucepan melt chocolate- dip cookies in chocolate
keksi
2 1/4 cups brasna 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup putra 3/4 cup secer vanilla 2 jaja 2 cups chips 375 mjesaj sve i stavi na oiled tavi - bake 10 min.
kuglice od čokolade
Umuti 200 gr. maslaca, 300 grama secera, jedno cijelo jaje i 50 grama kakao, malo ruma, 200 mlijevenih keksa (Graham crackers dodju isto samljeveni). Od toga se prave kuglice i uvaljaju se u samljevene orahe i stavi u refrigerator, moze i u frizer ako neces odmah pojesti.
okrugljice od šljiva
50 dkg krumpira 15 dkg brasna 3 dkg maslaca ili masti 1 jaje, sol 50 dkg sljiva voda 6 dkg masti 4 dkg mrvica krumpir se kuha, oguli, protjera kroz stroj za meso ili kroz presu za krumpir. dok je jos topao izradi se na dasci s brasnom, maslacem, jajetom i soli u glatko tijesto koje se izvalja i reze u cetvorine. u svaku cetvorinu umota se dobro obrisana sljiva. okruglijce se kuhaju u slanoj vodi 5 minuta, ocijede i poliju maslacem u kojem smo poprzili mrvice. uz to se servira secerr, da svatko moze zasladiti po volji.
flan
1/2 litre mlijeka 4 cijela jaja 4 zlice secera 4 komada kruha (pomoci u vodi malo cimeta ili vanilije sve izmjesati napravit karamelo i stavi smjesu kuhati na bano maria u roru 35 minuta. kad se ohladi okreni i stavi kremu.
tiramisu
3 milsica cream cheese 3 zuta, 3 zlica secera 1/2 l vrhnja za slag kutija piskota malo crne kave cokolada u prahu tri zuta muti s 3 secera onda 3 milstica. stuci slag i promjesag s drugi. put aside cream for around the cake later. piskote umakati u crnu kavu i slagati piskote, krema, vrhu ostane krema onda cokolada prahu
krem pita
tijesto : 25 dg. putra, 25 dg. brasna i malo soka od limuna, izrezati putar u kocke nadodati brasno i hladne vode zamijesi i 7 puta razvaljati cijelu noc ostaviti u fridge. drugi dan peci na cistom plehu na drugoj strani i sa vilicom nabockati tijesto. fila: 1 litra mljeka, 4 zlice secera metni da se kuha, prije toga izmijesati 6 zuta, 6 zlica secera nadodati 6 zlica brasna i sa zicom lupati dok se ne zgusne u vruce od 6 bijelij snjeg nadodati gelatinu sin sabor i umutiti na zadnje jednu kremu.
medenjaci
4 jaja 200g ulja (jogurt cup) 200g meda 2 tsp cimet 1 tsp baking soda 12 dcl brasna(12 * 100g) 10 tbl secer mjesaj sve skupa osim brasna - onda dodaj 10 dcl brasna i mjesaj - dodaj baking soda i 2 dcl brasna - pokri i stavi u hladnjak - drugi dan - flour table - roll out - stavi brasna gore i mjesaj - make finger thick - cut w/ floured cup - put in buttered pan - 350 - 10-15 min
baklava
tjesto kao za savijacu napravi ili kupi gotovo. nadjev: 1/4 kg oraha 100 g secera cimeta syrup: 350 g secera 2 dl vode sok od limuna pomasti tepsije. stvi pet sest listica tjesta poskropiti uljem. stavi malo oraha zatim dva listica i opet orahe. na koncu stvi opet pet sest listica odrezati prije nego sto se peci peci u dobro u grijanom rodu kad je jos toplo preliti sa sirupom.

1 putar (250g) 1/2 kg brasna 150 secer 4 zuta - pomjesaj i razdjeli u dva - pola stavi na tepsiju namazonom putrom i brasna - filling - paket sira 3/4 kg - 200g secer - snijeg od bijelih - limun korica- stavi na tjesto u tepsiju i pokri sa drugim i peci 20 min - first layer put fork holes 2nd layer - cut into long strands finger thick
apple štrudel

makovnjača
3 1/2 c. flour 3/4 c. milk 1/4 c. sugar 2 cakes yeast 2 egg yolks 1 tsp. lemon rind, grated 6 tbsp. melted butter 1/4 tsp. salt allow the yeast to rise in one quarter cup of warm milk until doubled in size. sift the flour into a deep bowl. make a well in the center and place the yeast in the well. add the remaining milk, sugar, egg yolks, lemon rind, vanilla, butter and salt. mix together well and beat with a wooden spoon until blisters begin to form on the dough. place in a greased bowl, cover with a damp tower and allow to rise in a warm place for about an hour or until doubled in bulk. divide the dough into two sections. roll each section out very thin, brush with melted butter and fill with poppy seed filling. roll like a savijaca by lifting the edge of the tablecloth on which the dough was rolled out. place the two sections of majovnjaca on a well greased baking sheet and allow to rise in a warm, draft-free place for another half hour. brush the rolls with a well beaten egg white and bake at 350 for about an hour until they become golden. let cool. filling: 2 c. ground poppy seeds 1/2 c. sweet crame 3 tbsp. raisins 1/2 c. sugar 4 tbsp. honey 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1 tbsp. rum 1 tsp. lemon rind mix poppy seeds, lemon, raisins, sugar and cinnamon. spread over dough. heat cream, and combine cream, honey, rum and pour over poppy seeds mixture. roll into makovnjaca.

makovnjaca dough 1/2 c. melted butter 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. hot milk 2 tbsp. strawberry jam 1 lb. walnuts, ground 1 tsp. grated lemon peel 1/4 c. raisins 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 tbsp. rum prepare the same way as makovnjaca dough. pour scalded milk over walnuts. combine remaining ingredients and allow to cool before spreading over dough. then place it in dough and continue like above.
orehnjača (mama's version)
1/2 salice mlakoga mljeka 1 zlica secera malo germe pustiti da se digne 1/2 kg brasna 2 zuta malo soli limunove kore secera 3 ili 4 zlice ruma istresi u to dignitu germu i nadodati 1/2 salice mljeka i 10 dg. putra to sve dobro lupati da nije tvrdo ni mekano pupsti da se digne na toplom mjestu. posebno skuhati 1/2 kg samljevenih oraha sa mljekom (1/2 salice) nadodati jednu zlicu "cafe concentrado" 20 dg cukra rozine jednun saku 1 zlice meda kad se ohladi nadodati od 2 bjeloga snjeg razvaljati masu i filovati pospi tepsiju s uljem i malo gore na tjesto.

alternative method:
Tjesto:  3-1/2 cups brasna (obicno-glatko), 1-1/2 cups mlijeka, 2 zlice ulja, 2 zlice secera, malo soli, 2 jaja (samo zuto), i paketic suhe germe.

Sve to pomjesati, nek mlijeko bude samo malo zagrijano, lupati sa kuhacom dok ljesto pada od kuhace (pet-deset minuta).  Pokri i stavi negdje na toplo sat-dva dok se digne.

Nadjev
2 cups oraha koje cete samljeti fino, 1 cup mlijeka, 7 zlica secera, ribana korica od 1 limuna, malo cimeta, malo muskantni orascic (optional)
(Moze se nadodati i nesto mrvica (breadcrumbs) jer izgledaju kao samljeveni orasi. To sve pomjesajte

Onda stavite brasna na stol i razdvojite tjesto na dva i od svake polovice napravite jedan rectangle po duljini vase tepsije, kad imate dva rectangles na to stavite nadjev i grozdjica (optional) i rolajte lijepo. 

Namazite tepsiju sa maslacem i pospite brasnom i stavite obe orehnjace, seamside down.  Brush with egg.  Pustite da se malo jos digne pola sata i pecite na 180 recimo 40 minuta.  Enjoy

 
krempalačinke
5 tbsp. soft butter 5 egg yolks, well beaten 1 tbsp. sugar 5 tbsp. sifted cake flour 5 egg whites, stiffly beaten 5 tbsp. warm milk vanilla sugar cream the soft butter until it becomes frothy. add the well beaten egg yolks and beat well. add flour and milk, a tbsp. at a time, beating well after each addition. fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites. heat a pancake skillet, well greased with oil. spoon out three tbsp. of the palacinka batter and fry until the bottom is golden brown. the palacinka will expand like an omelette. leave the top of the palacinka slightly undercooked - do not turn it over. place the palacinke on a warm plate with the soft side up. sprinkle with vanilla sugar. allow to sit in a warm place while the other palacinke are cooking. place one palacinka on top of the other so that it ends up looking like a cake. continue cooking until all the batter is used up. serve either hot or cold and slice like a cake. if preferred, the krempalacinke can be filled with any of teh fillings used for rolled palacinke.

2 c. sugar 1 c. water 1 tbsp. lemon juice 6 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar 1/2 c. flour 2 tbsp. rosewater 1/4 tsp. mastic 2/3 c. almonds or pistachios combine the sugar and half the water and boil for about 15 min. add the lemon juice and cook for about a minute longer. add the cornstarch to the remaining water. mix well to dissolve the cornstarch. add this mixture to the hot syrup gradually, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. continue to cook over medium heat for another 10 min. remove from heat. add rose water, mastic, nuts, and mix well. cover the bottom of a large square or rectangular tray with a thin layer of cornstarch. pour the hot ratluk mixture onto the tray. it should be about 1" thick. flatten with a large knife. allow the ratluk to set overnight. the following day, cut it with a sharp knife and roll in confectioner's sugar.

PERFECT HOMEMADE PANCAKES (IHop!) 1-1/2 cups flour (Andja, I used ostro but any flour will do)) 3 tablespoons sugar 3 level teaspoons baking powder (1/2 baking powder envelope in Croatia) a little salt 2 eggs 1 cup milk ¼ cup oil Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In separate bowl mix yolks, milk, and oil. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture. Separately beat the egg whites until stiff (with mixer or by hand). Fold well whipped egg whites into batter. Heat pan and without putting oil on pan, cook pancakes over medium-low heat until bubbles pop. Flip and cook another 30 seconds or so. Enjoy! *This enough for two people. They are good cold the next day, too. Also you can add some blueberries on each pancake before you flip it. then add chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
take out seeds - one pepper is enough and a scoop of adobo
tortillias in heavy pot - oil - be careful!
plate up and avocado on top!
serve with rice!

prosciutto chicken & zuchinni pasta
3 basil leaves
2 cloves garlic
zucchini
lemon
tbsp butter
1 cup heavy cream
parmesan cheeese
procisucito- split chicken breasts
pasta to boiling water + 1tbsp rosemary and thyme
salt pasta water
oven to low broil
rub chicken with olive oil - greese up cookie sheet
salt pepper and basil on chicken
then wrap prosciutto around - 15 - 20 min in oven
slice garlic and zucchini thinly
melt butter in pan
sautee and then stir in zucchini and herbs
stir in creame - boil and reduce
add pasta to that mix
lay chicken on bed of pasta, garnish with lemon juice and fresh grated parmesan!

Kak ste, ovih dana spreman recepte za ponesti na Pasman pa mi je palo na ruku ovaj čudan recept.

Zove se Šmarn valjda rijec dolazi iz njemackog.  To je starinski brzi recept koje je baka Fina pravila.

Napavi tjesto za palacinke ali gušće.  Ako zelis u smjesu mozes staviti grožđica.

Ubaci svu smjesu na nauljenu tavu.  To jest, ne pravis palacinke, nego sa vilicom kad pocme malo
dobiti boju sve kidas i pravis ovu  mess koja se zove Šmarn.  To se posluzi za dorucak ili kad god
si gladan i nesto ti fali.  Gore mozete staviti jagoda ili drugo sezonsko voce i syrup (koji god hoces
kao Aunt Jemima) ili stavi gore secer u prahu.

PIZZA WITH POTATOES

Make your regular pizza dough and on top grate a couple of potatoes, put some garlic slices, 
parmesan, salt, pepper, some rosemary branches which you later remove, and drizzle with olive oil.  

(What about throwing some bacon slices on top too!)


Koliko mi je poznato ovo se jelo uz čorbu krumpiraču i puru najmanje tri ili čak više puta uzimalo u tjednu. Jednostavno, jučerašnje jelo naših siromaha i radnika. Danas se mnogi stide, a pitam se zašto. U Napulju je pizza bila i nastala kao sirotinjska hrana, a znamo što je danas pizza. Koliko se toga nadodalo i obogatilo pizzu!? Normalni Napolitanac poznaje onoliko vrsta pizza koliko je u godini dana.

 

Pripremimo mi našu staru i lijepu izlivaču.
Pred nama su krumpir, brašno, sol i voda.


Očišćeni krumpir sječkom isjeći u drvenoj posudi – čanjku, ili narezati na kockice, dodati malo vode, posoliti i nadodati brašna po potrebi. Sve skupa izmiješati i ujediniti, pa razliti na namazani pleh. Peče se u dobro zagrijanoj pećnici onoliko koliko treba da se ispeče pogača.


Možete začiniti mašću, maslacem (ako nije post, jer izlivača je najčešće posno jelo), uljem, jogurtom ili čak češnjakom i mlijekom.


Međutim, ako izlivaču narežete kao što ste narezivali burek, onda ju možete poslužiti kao prilog nekim jelima, ili uz nareske izvanredno poslužiti kao večernje jelo.



CHOCOLATE SALAMI
SALAME AL CIOCCOLATO




The chocolate salami is a very popular dessert in Italy.
The recipe varies from region to region, but the combination of chocolate, cocoa powder and instant coffee make it really delicious.
As a tasty variant I suggest to replace the cookies with dried apricots, candied orange peels or hazelnuts, almonds and pistachios. The amount is up to you.. Be creative!

Ingredients:
200 gr of dark chocolate
2 egg yolks 
80 gr of icing sugar (or powdered sugar)
100 gr of milk
100 gr of butter
80 gr of unsweetened cocoa powder
A teaspoon of instant coffee
200 grams of biscuits

Method:
First of all melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler and, in another saucepan, heat the milk with the instant coffee. 
In a bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar until the mixture is light and creamy. 
When the milk is almost to a boil turn off the heat and add it a little at a time to the batter of egg yolks and sugar. Stir with a whisk and pour it all in the same pan in which you did boil the milk and put on the fire to medium-low flame, stirring constantly. Cook the custard like a crème anglaise. 
When the cream is ready remove from heat, add the melted chocolate, the butter, the unsweetened cocoa powder and stir vigorously.
Once you've created a smooth, lump-free dough, add the cookies previously coarsely crumbled. 
Pour the mixture on a sheet of parchment paper and, rolling and pressing the dough, give it the classic form of salami. 
Wrap everything in aluminum foil and let it cool in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours or, better yet, for a whole day.
Take out the chocolate salami from the fridge 10-15 minutes before serving.
To make it even more like a salami, before cutting and serving it to the guests, sprinkle it with icing sugar and tie it with a string. It will look like a real salami and you will make a great impression!
